Responsibilities

  • Handle all matters on Singapore direct tax and overseas tax in countries the group operates in
  • Ensure tax compliance and timely filling of tax returns
  • Review tax computations and provide tax advisory and support to business groups
  • Identify tax planning opportunities and mitigate tax risks for the group
  • Analyse and interpret the impact of changes to laws and regulations on tax liabilities, tax structuring, transfer pricing, etc.
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and liaise with local and overseas consultants on local and regional tax matters

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience in commercial and Big 4 accounting firm
  • Detail-oriented, independent and analytical with good problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Experience in GST/indirect taxes, stamp duties and property tax matters is a plus
