Infrastructure Support Lead

Responsibilities

  • Install, administer and configure infrastructure systems (i.e. network appliance, server hardware, operating systems, storage & software, active directory services and e-mail & telephony system) 
  • Support and maintain infrastructure systems and business application servers installed on-premises
  • Resolve incident and problem tickets escalated from the managed Service Desk within agreed service level
  • Assist in procurement process (i.e.. solicit quotations, price negotiation, recommendation, goods received/service acceptance and payment submission)
  • Provide support and advisory services to outsourced partners
  • Plan and execute infrastructure related projects (e.g. life-cycle replacement, office opening or relocation)

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in network hardware, LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi networking protocols and standards (MS, Intel, Cisco & MPLS)
  • Team player, process-driven and meticulous with good communication skills
  • Certification in ITIL/CCNA/MCSE and O365 Email is preferred
  • Experience in Azure cloud, Checkpoint/Fortinet firewall, Cisco VPN, VMware, HP SAN storage system & Avaya Telephone system is preferred
