Assistant Restaurant Manager

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations efficiently through guiding team members
  • Induct, mentor and train junior staff to achieve guest satisfaction
  • Recommend and upsell menu items as well as advise guests on any ongoing promotions to achieve revenue targets
  • Enhance customer service quality through continuous improvement process
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and minimise wastage
  • Provide prompt and excellent customer service
  • Cultivate a cohesive and collaborative culture
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in manpower planning to support operational needs
  • Handle guest complaints with care and provide service recovery options

Requirements

  • Diploma in any field
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience, including 2 years of managerial experience
  •  Excellent interpersonal, leadership and organisational skills
  •  Able to perform in a fast paced environment
  • Willing to work 6 days rotating shift including weekends and public holidays
  • Business and financial acumen to achieve profitability targets will be advantageous
