Assistant Manager, Financial Reporting (General Ledger)

Responsibilities

  • Assist to direct and monitor accounting activities
  • Ensure that financial resources are managed according to accounting principles and relevant regulations and laws
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities to facilitate the monthly SAP closure
  • Assist in SAP implementation by stabilising daily operations and designing new processes to increase productivity
  • Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures, workflows and accounting policies
  • Lead continuous improvement in processes and resolution of cross-department legacy issues
  • Resolve issues and direct the team with the right methodology to achieve results
  • Prepare reports for review and analysis

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent (e.g. CPA)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Self-starter with track record in driving process improvement and operational accounting
  • Strong people management, communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
