Assistant Manager, FP&A

Responsibilities

  • Business Decision Support: Partner with business unit and other key stakeholders across the organization. Assist in providing management with timely finance-related analysis and recommendations across a range of critical business decisions, including leasing strategy, development strategy etc.
  • Results Tracking and Reporting: Provide detailed analysis and supporting commentary on actual vs budget variances. Examine monthly results and P&L outcome and communicate monthly business performance to business unit COO.
  • Annual Business Planning: Gather inputs from business units to formulate key strategies and recommendations on how to best drive the growth and profitability of the International business.
  • Be a Coach to the Finance Executive in the team
  • Develop business case for re-development and asset enhancement initiatives
  • Perform financial due diligence for potential asset acquisitions on an ad-hoc basis
  • Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent
  • CPA and/or relevant processional qualification
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in commercial and Big 4 accounting firms
  • At least 3 years of experience in an FP&A or commercial analyst position
  • Strong technical skills in financial modelling and analysis
  • Self-directed, hands-on, motivated and highly committed to meet deadlines and targets
  • Independent and able to work with all levels in a high matrix organization
  • Strong analytical, people management, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and SAP
