Manager, Lease Administration

Responsibilities

  • Draft, review and analyse lease documents to maximise financial and operational performance and to ensure compliance with statutory regulations
  • Review terms and conditions negotiated outside of the standard provisions in the lease documents with internal or external legal expertise, respective Leasing Business Heads and HOD
  • Lead and guide the Lease Admin team in all lease administration-related activities, including:
    • Preparing tenancy agreements (new/renewal leases) and side letters,
    • Preparing pre-termination/termination letters to tenants,
    • Preparing Novation and Assignment, Variation of Lease and/or Licenses,
    • Performing e-stamping of tenancy agreements,
    • Verifying required documents for agency commission pay-out, and;
    • Maintaining tenant database in tenancy systems.
  • Disseminate Master Tenancy Listing to relevant stakeholders including Marketing, Management Office and Central Engineering Department

  • Strengthen current internal controls and improve current processes

Requirements

  • Degree in Real Estate, Law or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Familiar with statutory real estate policies in the areas of regulatory compliance
  • Strong people management, communication, and analytical skills
