Facilities Technician

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure smooth running of all building Mechanical and Electrical services for the assigned properties
  • Inspect the premises daily according to the building checklist 
  • Carry out preventive maintenance of the equipment in accordance with the Preventive Maintenance Schedule
  • Perform repairs of M&E equipment including replacement of M&E spare parts
  • Attend to all M&E related work orders within the stipulated time frame
  • Attend to M&E related emergency breakdown according to duty roster and assignment
  • Coordinate M&E related term contract servicing, supervise contractors and endorse job done on site
  • Conduct fit-out checks of owners’ and tenants’ units
  • Ensure compliance to building and fire safety rules and regulations
  • Record meter readings and calculate daily utilities consumption 
  • To maintain a proper stock control for all M&E accessories and materials purchased
  • Ensure that Workplace Safety Rules and Regulations are complied with
  • Standby duties for emergency call back
  • Any other work assigned by the management.

 

Requirements

  • NITEC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in commercial buildings
  • Able to perform shift work
  • Able to work 6 days a week
