Assistant Sales Manager (Oasia Downtown and Novena, The Clan Hotel, AMOY)


  • Be a spokesperson in terms of professionalism through proper grooming, conduct and ability to present the hotel or serviced residence product and services effectively.
  • Be familiar and effective in the sales process: create rapport, ask open questions, follow up, anticipate and manage expectations, advise conflicts, overcome objections, closing and obtain post-feedback. 
  • Day-to-day sales activities include telemarketing, sales calls, hotel / serviced residence visits, entertainment, virtual presentations etc.
  • Acquire new sales leads / prospects and establish new accounts to grow account / client base.
  • Foster and develop relationship with existing clients and customers to maintain loyalty.
  • Manage leads and enquiries and provide suitable solutions promptly.
  • Review account portfolio regularly and present to management to provide analysis on performance of each account and forward action plans.
  • Manage corporate meetings, banquet events, residential and non-residential meeting groups or travel trade accounts
  • Provide management with timely Sales and Marketing strategic information
  • Secure new accounts and achieve monthly sales targets assigned
  • Provide suggestions to re-secure loss of existing accounts
  • Follow up with clients whose payments are outstanding and overdue


  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking and organisational skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Able to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
